Monroe Jackson’s journey in creating silver jewelry began in 1967. Along this journey is where he merged his passion for natural stones with his fine craftsmanship as a silver smith. Mr. Jackson’s ‘One-of-a-Kind’ creations are fabricated pieces, not cast, utilizing sterling silver, 14K or 18K gold, and when his design dictates he will meld silver and gold.

Each Monroe Jackson original, whether it is a flamboyant ring, a square bracelet or a magnificent pendant, is designed solely to showcase the unique attributes and natural beauty of each stone. Monroe travels extensively to find the highest quality and most unique stones available. He has a special place in his heart for Opals, Turquoise, Cat’s Eye and Star Stones.

Among the many awards bestowed upon Mr. Jackson are the Linz Award at the Texas State Fair, Celebration of the Arts, Midland, Texas, and Challenge New Mexico in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Lengthy as well is the list of juried shows throughout the southwest in which Monroe has shown his work.
